hey mikebertino- nice bike.

is the chainline scraight on that 722?
just asking since i have Origin 8 cranks on mine which sets me up to have to run the chainring inside the spider, and it's completely fucked from doing stalls and grinds, thinking I should just switch to Sugino Messenger's (but am split between those and a conversion to a BMX drivetrain), but I want to make sure it's not the spacing on the bike that's making my shit wonky- don't know why it would be...? anyways, sick bike.

I'm grabbing a trickStrar fork for my 722, but i've dropped up to an 8stair with the 43 rake fork and had no problems - go thrash that thing, it looks too white. nice bike.

thanks for all the nice words!!!

yes, my chainline is straight. sounds like your bottom bracket is maybe a bit long(?) i'm using the messenger 103mm BB and it keeps it all close in and straight. you might just be able to put your chainring on the other side of the spider. doesn't look super slick but i've seen people do it before.

and yea wait for the version 2 fork for sure.

thanks again guys!

i'm seriously considering a 725, but i hate how all the leader forks look. they're too raked out for me...any that will bring the front wheel closer to the downtube? has anyone tried using the fork off of a fuji track pro?

We have new forks coming for the 725TR. Both with less rake. New aero aluminum fork with 28 rake will be in stock in two weeks.

They are worth it. I like them better than the twist in straps out there. The feel secure and I have been riding them for about 6 weeks now. Way better than clips too
